remote screen is black

Latest Beta 2 Pro (downloaded today). Installed on 2 PC Windows 11 PCs

I can see the secondary PC in the KVM Sidebar - complete with any open windows on that PC.

WHen I click to connect, I get a black screen.

If not, these are guaranteed to work and super cheap

  • What is the connection type for the monitor on the Secondary?
  • Does it have more than 1 monitor on the Secondary?  If you reduce it to 1 monitor, does it then show it when you make the connection?
  • Is the remote monitor(s) actually powered on?
  • Is the remote PC 'asleep' when you connect to it?  If it is a sleep and you wake it, when you reconnect, is the monitor still black?

Hi Sean,

  • Monitor is connected via HDMI
  • Only one screen
  • Already powered-on
  • No not asleep when connecting

What CPU is the remote Secondary, x86 or ARM?

If you demote the current Primary to a Secondary (making sure to deactivate it when asked) and promoot the Secondary to a Primary (activating it), can you reproduce the issue - that when you connect to the old Primary PC \ now a Secondary, that you can see the screen (or not)?
