Move the start bar

Hi, I wanted to know if it was possible to set the start bar only on the second monitor.

I can't set it on the second monitor.

On old Windows I remember that I just had to unlock the bar and drag it to the second monitor

thanks

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know you on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build.

Thank you.

If you're not using the Enhanced taskbar, I think you can make a selection in the Windows Settings. I don't use multiple monitors, so I can't test this setting.

However, activating that option activates the bar on all my monitors. I wanted to deactivate it on monitor 1 and 3 and activate it only on the second monitor.

With Windows 7 this was very easy :'(

I believe you can disable show my taskbar on all display. And set your primary monitor to be monitor 2. That will move your taskbar to Monitor 2. Do know that in Windows 11, we can not do what we can do on Windows 10, where we can just click and drag the taskbar to any monitor we like.

Thank you,

I can't do it :(

I can only disable the bar on two monitors, 2 and 3, but I can't disable it on the first one :(

The same thing happens with only two monitors, if I disconnect the third monitor I can only disable the bar on the second monitor.

I would like to move the bar to the second monitor and keep the first monitor free

Try these steps and see if work for you.
