I have never gotten Windows Blinds to work on several computers for nearly a decade

I have been a customer of Start11 or one of it's predecessors for many years.  Throughout that time, I've owned several computers and have tried out Windows Blinds on all of them.  I have never gotten the program to work.  When I try to apply a style, absolutely nothing happens.  I guess it can set light or dark mode on my computer but that's it.  Since,  I've tried numerous versions of Windows Blinds on so many computers, even running fresh Windows installations, I've always wondered how this software ever worked for anyone.   Since, I've always been so turned off by the program's lack of functionality after installing and troubleshooting it on so many systems, I've always dismissed the idea of purchasing it.  However, if  someone could help me get Windows Blinds working, I would buy it immediately.  I really like the way it's supposed to function.  Can you help me to get it working.  Thanks, Ryan

Not sure what the OSs, etc. were on those other computers were. What's important now is that we deal with the current one.

Please run winver and give the OS and version and the version of Windowblinds you  have.

Also, what other customizing software might be installed and which antiviral software you're running.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Okay, here what you can do, to a 30 free Trial on Windowblinds 11. Install it on Windows 11 Sandbox: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1416396827/Testing+WindowBlinds+in+Sandbox. And see if you can apply a skin while in the Sandbox and report back.

I'd also like to add that Stardock Software offers no technical support beyond this forum except for refunds and sales and Enterprise, not the common user.  For a program that has never worked out of the box for me, that seems ridiculous and makes the software an extremely difficult sell.  I'm sure countless others have felt the same way and just uninstalled the trial version and never really looked back.  However, I'm reaching out don this forum despite all this.  I  feel that if my problem gets resolved here it will be good for everyone, increase sales and add to the the Windows Blinds community.   I look forward to getting some replies and resolving the issue.  Thanks in advance.

Are you using ESET AV on all those computers?
