Start11 - Right click on application, pin to start11, does not work

If I right click on an EXE file, there is an option to "Pin to Start11", which has replaced "Pin to Start". However, choosing this option does not pin the EXE to my Start11 menu. I can pin items to the Start11 menu by right clicking in the menu and choosing to pin a file and navigating to it, but this is not as convenient as the right click Pin to Start option.

I am using "Windows 11 Style", Start11 version 2.1 (latest). Windows 11, Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.4037)

Yes, I understand that's a way to pin an installed application, but I'm mostly referring to non-installed portable applications, and as I mention in my original post:

I can pin items to the Start11 menu by right clicking in the menu and choosing to pin a file and navigating to it, but this is not as convenient as the right click Pin to Start option.

My final post above basically lays out the issue in great detail and is something that should be passed along to the devs for consideration. Hopefully one of the community support people can do so.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, this is an old thread, which problem you're referring to? Also, need few more details.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Start11 full version numbers.
  3. More details on your issue.
