Installing Sound Packager on Windows 10

Hello:

I have a license for Sound Packager, the version linked on my downloads page is 1.31. I downloaded the installer linked on my downloads page, but when I run the installer on my Windows 10 machine, it fails with the error in the attached screenshot.

The product page for Sound Packager says it supports Windows versions 7 / 8 / 10.

What am I doing wrong? How do I get Sound Packager installed on Windows 10?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know some informations.

  1. Your full Windows 10 version and OS Build number. Use Winver.exe, something like screenshot below. I don't need a screenshot, just that Version XXHX (OS Build XXXXX.XXXX) part
  2. Are your Windows 10 running on ARM base CPU system?

Thanks for the reply. My PC is not ARM based; I have an Intel Core i7 processor.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 Build 19045.4780.

I don't think Soundpackager 1.31 is compatible with Windows 10. You will need a license for Soundpackger 10 for that.

Sorry, yes, I missed that you on SP v1.xx, you will need to upgrade/purchase SoundPacker 10 to work on Windows 10.
