Edge file selector freezes

I have a strange problem when using it. From time to time I have to select a file in the Edge browser. Then the Windows file selection box opens and then a few seconds later the entire browser freezes. I can no longer select anything. But if I then open an application, such as Windows Explorer, and place it over the selection field, everything works again. In the WB settings, the option "Allow WindowsBlinds to skin Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge" is disabled. After uninstalling WB, everything works normally. In the meantime, I reinstalled the system and reinstalled WB and the error was there again. It is difficult to debug because the error occurs sporadically.

What is the best way to proceed?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try this, set Windowblinds to ignore Edge. Refer screenshot below.

  1. Go to WB11 configuration windows.->Click on "Per Application" tab
  2. Click on "Add..." Button
  3. Browse to "Edge" :C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application: look for "msedge.exe": Select/Tick: "Ignore this application..."
  4. Click "OK" Button.
