Misplaced Taskbar Thumbnails

Can this be fixed?

Hello, I've been using your Start (Menu) software since Windows 8 and have had very few problems over the years (and STILL use the Windows 7 setup!).

I'm on the Windows 11 Insider 1.5. At some point this year I had problems with icons pinned to the Taskbar, and ever since then most of the icon's thumbnails pop up in a completely different location from where the icon is. For example, an icon's thumbnail that is 23 icons away from the Start button pops up when I hover my cursor over it above the first icon!

Is there any easy way to fix it?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more details on your system.

  1. Windows full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get it.
  2. Start11 version number.
  3. Monitor/s resolution, scaling factors (100%,150% etc).
  4. Any other 3rd party software install that also mod your Start panel/Taskbar and/or Windows explorer?

  2. Version 1.5 - Windows Insider detected
  3. 3240 x 2160 (Recommended), 150%
  4. No.

Do know that Stardock do not support its software under Windows Insider Preview Build version. Please revert to non insider preview version and see if the issue still there. I, however, have forwarded your problem to Stardock Support Team for their review. We appreciate your feedback.
