I've tried a couple of times to go to Windows 11 and end up downgrading to Windows 10 each time and it all comes back to features of the new Windows 11 Taskbar that no longer work like they used to. Start11 comes close to getting things to where I want but the gaps are still just so much that I find it easier to come back to Windows 10 than stay in Windows 11. It comes down to the fact that as a gamer, my primary screen is almost always occupied with a full screen game, so I want the Start bar to have a bunch of key functionality but on my SECONDARY screen. Windows 11 basically won't let the secondary monitor have primary monitor features and this makes gaming in Windows 11 a royal pain.
If y'all could get Start11 to add these features (back), I'd be able to move. Can you do it?
- Enable systray to show up on a secondary screen's task bar
- Enable the main screen task bar to move to the secondary screen and still treat it as the secondary screen
- Add back or mimic the Desktop Toolbar so that I have easy access to my desktop icons from the bar without opening a menu or create a folder of the desktop icons that pops up when I click on it.
I've seen other utilities do some of these features, but I really like Start11's overall toolset and polish and I've been a loyal OD user <cough> since OS/2<cough> so I'm hoping y'all can do what those other utilities have done and add it to your better tool.
Thank you and Good luck!
