Taskbar text color

I am using the Start11 Windows 10 style start menu. When I change the color of the taskbar to a darker color, the text remains black, so  difficult to see. I have not found any setting for changing the taskbar text to either white or some lighter color to contrast the color of the taskbar.  Hopefully there is some setting I have not seen, but would appreciate whatever help I can get.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try changing Windows Mode to Dark. Right click on desktop->Personalize->Colors->Choose your color drop down menu->Select "Dark"

If you set "Choose your mode" to Custom:

To change the color of the text on the taskbar to white, change "Choose your default Windows mode" to Dark.

"Chose your default app mode" can be Light or Dark.

Thanks...that did work for making the taskbar text white.  Unfortunately, I don't care for 'everything' being in dark mode.  At least I know what to do if I change my mind on that.  Thank-you again.

Sorry...I guess I didn't go to the 'custom' part.  Changed Windows mode to dark; default app mode to light; and all is good now.  Thank-you.

Great! Welcome to the wonderful world of Start11. Take some time to discover the features available to you. Go thru all the settings menus and there are a wealth of right-click context menu options.
