Random crashes

Renders systemtray icon unresponsive

I have been using multiplicity for years with no issues.

I have a problem with Multiplicity 3.6 crashing randomly on my primary computer. It will work for minutes or sometimes hours and then suddenly stop working. When I try to bring up the multiplicity menu from the system tray icon nothing will happen when I click/double click it. I then will go to my taskmanager and force "end process" on multiplicity. System tray icon remains even after ending the process in task manager. If I try restarting Multiplicity it will still not work.

I have to log out of the windows profile, log back in and wait for multiplicity to start back up. After multiplicity has started back up I will once again have seamless access to all secondary computer.

And 2 small requests:

1. Please add some kind of visual indicator which tells you when broadcast is active

2. Please let us remap broadcasting to a single key.

Edit: I actually had been searching for others having the same issue and didn't find any - searched again after this post and found this: https://forums.stardock.com/493492/page/2/#3900663 - I actually have nvidia overlay.

I will try the workarounds suggested when I get home from work and return here with my findings.

That almost certainly means something other than MP has changed.

I have been testing with nvidia overlay diabled but still experience the "freeze" which makes multiplicity not work and the tray ikon unresponsive (restart or log off / log on, on main pc required to fix this). I have also encountered my other problem which makes controlling secondary pc impossible due to the mouse moving around sporatically on the secondary pc's (a quick unload and reload of the multiplicity software on main pc fixes this).

I will try som of the other solutions as well and report back.
