Offset the Menu From the Taskbar Bug
Strange interactions when set to "Never"
So, there is a bit of an odd issue I am experiencing. When the "Offset the menu from the taskbar" option in the Start Menu Visual Appearance section is set to "Never," the start menu icons remain interactable when I hover over a taskbar icon and get a preview window. For a use case example of this being an issue, I hit the Windows key to interact with the taskbar while in a full screen program. This brings up the start menu. I go to click something on my taskbar with multiple windows (i.e., Steam/Steam chat, or a browser with many tabs), but it does not click the preview window for a particular tab on the taskbar; it clicks on the icon in the start menu behind the preview window of the item on the taskbar. When set to "Always," this does not occur - it will successfully open the selected window. Essentially, if I hit the Windows key to go an Amazon tab I have open, it will not go to Amazon, but, say...the Xbox Game Bar app, because that was the app on the start menu behind the preview window.
