Duplication of input on other connected computers

Been having an issue with mouse input from secondary computer is being duplicated to primary computer. This make MP unusable for its intended purpose. I did some searching and can only find a two year old thread where others had the same issue. My MP is latest version and I tried some things like compatibility mode. Did we ever find a fix for this? It is driving me nuts and I have loved MP until this big showed up. Note: seems to have happened with the move 64 bit in EQ but several folks called out it happens on any 64 bit game that "steals" focus. Any help is appreciated!

If like in that thread, you are experiencing this with Everquest (and its host of other 3rd party apps that are used to control multiple characters), my follow up to it is still the case here:

The entirety of that thread

Details everything we did and what Everquest did to prevent it from working as you hope.

Read that entire thread and saw many people saying it still wasn't working despite the claimed fix/patch.  So you are saying Stardock just doesn't care about this issue despite multiple people still having it?

Maninacan, its not us that makes it not work; clearly, it is the makers of Everquest and \ or the use of other 3 party software that the community uses to multibox the game.  I would suspect, on non-private servers, that is against their terms of service, thus, it would make sense that they will do all they can to eliminate the practice.
