Can a VPN (Nordvpn/expess/sharksurf) be used to protect my computers, and still allow local Network Seamless KVM?
I have been using Multiplicy on a local Network with 6 static Local IP's and all works well. I installed a VPN (Surfshark) and the local IPs all changed to "fake IPs" and I am not sure how to make it work. I contacted Surfshark and they said it would require "port forwarding" that they did not do. Can the Stardock Team help with getting their product to either work with a VPN or somehow tunnel around the VPN and keep using a local socket or IP Address?
Such a product is somewhat redundant - at least narrowly speaking for the networking protection you have noted. The reason is that home networks are already 'protected' from outside intrusion via their home routers from their WAN (Public IP) \ LAN (Private IP) design. That's about as far as I want to get into that as explaining it further would distract from the answer to your question.

At the very least, you are going to want to remove all the connections on the Primary and recreate them.
