Groupy2 Tabs settings

I need help with settings. The top image is not a good solution. The bottom image ius what I want. I forgot how I did it. Can you help?

In the config app, select Tab appearance and then at the top of the panel on the left, select Rounded tabs.

Do the tabs work independently? I add more tabs and all work OK except for "StarDock", as named in the image. That is the only tab that appears as it dos in the top image.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Are you talking about the blue colored tab background? If so, please try these setting.

No. The OneNote, StarDock and Gemini tabs are all the sane colour, white, and hard to distinguish. The lower image is easier to distinguish.

It is the StarDock tab that seems to be different than the other 2 tabs.

The blue you ask about seems to be the background colour. If so, I think your telling me that the following:

  • Focused background bar: Custom Colour
  • Unfocused background bar: Custom colour

What is exactly do the 2 items do for me? The reason for the questions, I need to kno\w exactly what I'm doing for a video.5

I'm a big believer in StarDock programs and the best way to help my clients is by video.

Do you mean, you want your saved Groupy group named "Startup" to load every time you Start/Boot-up your computer?

I tested it, unfortunately it will not work with groupy saved groups.

I haven't been able to find a way to do this. But, what I do is pin my saved group to the taskbar. At least it will give you quicker access to your startup group with just one mouse click.

To pin a saved group to the taskbar, the easiest way (at least for me), is to search the name of the group in the taskbar search. Then right click and from there you can either pin the group to the taskbar or the start menu.

I believe I have found the solutions.  If you're able to break it please leave remarks here.

Create Groupy StartUp using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

I could not accomplish this using Windows-Setting-Apps-StartUp. Thanks to How-To Geek I was able to. I'm using Directory Opus instead of File Explorer which allows me to have two windows open at the same time making it a bit simpler. For my system the following two folders should be open, your computer might be different.

Groupy Files - C:\Users\ameri\AppData\Roaming\Groupy - Contains Groupie Files.

Location of Windows Startup Folder. - C:\Users\ameri\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

It is as simple as the following.

1. Open Folders

a. Groupy Files - C:\Users\ameri\AppData\Roaming\Groupy - Contains Groupie Files.

b. Location of Windows Startup Folder. - C:\Users\ameri\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup()

2. Right Click on Groupy File, a., and drag it into the Windows directory, b.  (Make sure you use a Right Click)

3. Now that you have dragged your Groupy file into the Windows folder release your Right Click. You will now see you have several selections. Select "Create Shortcut Here". 

4. Do Not Rename It. Just leave it alone. In my case the, ***-Shortcut, worked just fine. The hard part for me was finding a solution to my issue. But now I found How-To Geek.
