Windowblinds settings help

Ribbon in Explorer

can someone help me.  i found a blind i really like.  and it matches the wallpaper i really like.  there's just on hitch.  the window frame is dark blue and the contents of the window a a blue hue, but the ribbon is white, which sort of messes up the whole works.  is there a setting in the customize colors i can change to make the ribbon in explorer match the rest or be  a variant of blue?  Or is this even possible.

Hi Razor! To the best of my knowledge, to get the look and appearance that you want, one would have to tinker behind the scenes. In other words, one would have to make some color changes in a app or program called, "SkinStudio".  There's an area in the software where one can change skin colors. If you feel up to it, you would have to take a current skin, and modify it by changing the color of the explorer ribbon. I am not sure if that is possible. Maybe. You could try. I am far from an expert in using SkinStudio, I have tinkered and played around with it. But if you want, try it out, and see what you can do!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Some part of Windows Explorer for Windows 10 and Windows 11 can no longer be skin properly by Windowblinds. You might need to use 3rd party application that could somehow change Windows Explorer to make it skinable again. Windowblinds Master LightStar did recommend: Windhawk in some of his posts: https://forums.stardock.com/526164/get;3921653 and https://forums.stardock.com/522063/get;3899961. Hope it can help you too.

Thank you.

If you have purchased Windowblinds as a standalone or as a package with Object Desktop directly from Stardock, you should be able to download Skinstudio from your product page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. If you get Windowblinds from Steam, there should be a DLC for Skinstudio.

Thank you,

THANKS!!  The link went to a login page and I did and I see where to download SkinStudio in my Object Desktop Manager so I'm good to go.  Thanks again
