I tried both of these and none of them seems to be able to change minimize/close buttons (top right of windows) for edge, chrome or any other apps for that matter, though seems no problem changing it for the default windows explorer.
Curtian use only system ui files aka uxtheme.dll
WB do not use system ui files. You have a lot more UI moded function.
Curtian works only on Windows 10.
so some themes on windowblinds can change the size of minimize/close button top right of the application, but it doesn't seem to change them for ones like AnyDesk, Chrome or Edge. any idea how this can be done?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I don't have AnyDesk to verify, but, I know, Chromium base browsers, such as Chrome and Edge, can no longer be skin by Windowblinds for sometimes now, they have changed something in it since 2023.

hey thanks for answering. do you remember as of which version of edge/chrome from 2023 stopped working with windowblinds? I can try to install those versions and test
I can't remember when, but you can try early 2023 version should still work. Also, you will still need to do this: https://forums.stardock.com/486023/windowblinds-support-faq#chromeskin.
