MP3 player?????????????

I have a couple of questions on the MP3 player. Does it have problems with M3U playlists created by Winamp 3? How many songs can you have in the playlist, is there a limit.
The problem I am having is the song names just scroll on the window very fast with no way to stop them, it continually rolls through all the songs in the list.

Not at all, it shouldn't have a problem.

As long as the list continues, it continues playing the next one. Repeats at end.

If it is scrolling through, it means it isn't finding the mp3 on your hard drive. If you have removed them from their original folder, changed hard drive letters, or transferred entire folders, make a new playlist.

If this doesn't help, you'll have to give more info, and maybe send in a bug report to stardock.

I had this problem too...and unless Cari tweaked it, you'll have to make sure the MP3's are on the same HD partition that GalCiv is on, otherwise it'll think that it can't find them (and thus, the quick cycling of the titles).

Often the problem with the cycling is because the full path information was not given in the playlist.

Usually, just saving the m3u file directly into the Playlist folder is enough to make it save the entrie path name, rather than copying a pre-made playlist file into the directory.

I had to open my personal playlist in Winamp and then "save as" into the Galciv playlist directory.

Thanks for the feedback, the files are up on my server P drive. That may be the problem, have a few gig of mp3 files. So, if I read you correctly. It will not see a virtual drive even if I save the m3u file in that drive and open it inside the game.

I got mine to work over a network.. this is what the entries looked like in the M3u file..

"Worker" is the server name and "games" is the drive name
