Start11v2 service starts but Start11 menu does not appear

For a few weeks now I've been having a problem with Start11.

From a user point of view "Start11 does not load" i.e. often (but not always) I reboot my PC and all I see is the regular windows 11 start menu/task bar.

Diving in a little deeper, I can see a couple of other things that may be of interest to help troubleshoot. First of all, when this happens the regular windows 11 menu is not interactable i.e. I can open the start menu, but clicking on any icons has no effect, and if I type (or click on the field and type) my text does not appear in the search field. Secondly, if I close and re-open the start menu repeatedly, eventually - after a minute or two - I will get a "doubled start menu" where both the standard windows and Start11 start menus open briefly. From then on the Start11 menu operates normally.

I've checked the running services and the Start11 service appears to start and be running correctly throughout.

I initially had this problem with Start11 v1.x but I purchased and upgraded to v2 in part to try and solve this problem and was disappointed to find the problem recurred in v2.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
