Upgrage Cost?

Hello;

I have Fences 3.1.3.3 and Start10 ver 1.7.? I am current using Windows 10

I am wondering how much it costs to upgrade one or both programs to the latest versions? 

Also, since Windows 10 is reaching end-of-support next year, will the licenses transfer to a new machine? Or to a new machine if I upgrade the current machine?

Hello,

Please refer here to check if your software version compatible with Windows 11. https://forums.stardock.com/505717/stardock-app-compatibility. 

From that list look like Fences 3 and Start10 not compatible with Windows 11. Currently, you can only purchase Fences v5 and Start11 v2 directly from Stardock and Steams. You can directly go to its specific Web site for its price. https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/ and https://www.stardock.com/products/start11/

You might still find Fences v4 in Humble bundle: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/fences-4.

The license can be transfer to another system. You just need to deactivate the old activation to clear slot for activation on the new system. To deactivate, please refer to this guide: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1260585049/How+to+deactivate+Stardock+products

Good to know that the new versions are compatible with Windows 11 and licenses to the new versions can be transferred.

But how much does it cost to upgrade? Can I upgrade for free? Or do I need to buy a full price new license? I do not know what Stardock's policy is. Can you explain?

Not sure what you mean by "License to the new versions can be transferred". I don't think it work like that. What I said was. Your current license for example you Fences 3 license can be transferred to the new system. Not transferred to newer version.

You will need to purchase those newer version. It best if you refer here for your questions (There are discount offered for previous version users):
