Start menu mica colors not updating when desktop wallpaper changes

I am having a problem with the Start11 option Start Menu > Configuration > Visual appearance > Use Mica effect on menu background. I am using the "Slideshow" option in the Windows 11 Personalization > Background settings, so my desktop wallpaper automatically changes every 6 hours. When the wallpaper changes, the Windows 11 UI elements (window title bars, etc.) update to reflect the change, but Start11's start menu colors don't change. The start menu still shows the colors from the previous wallpaper.

If I go into the Start11 settings and toggle the mica effect off and on again, the start menu updates to show the correct colors.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Need its full version number, please use Winver.exe
  2. Start11 version numbers.

I don't think that can work with Mica turn on. However to be sure, I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
