Objectdock icon spacing issue

Icon spacing issue on Object Dock

The launcher icons are smashed together with no spacing between them. It looks funky. Will there be a feature added to create a bit of space between them one day???

It appears that if your icons are 256 pixel wide, there is no space between them. I agree with you, there should be a small buffer between icons. You can put a separator between icons, but that is 256 pixels wide and way to big.

This should be logged as a feature request.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please post a screenshots on your dock so I can understand your issue. I looked on mine and for me it look fine. Refer screenshot below. Mouse pointer was on my Local Disk C.

The folder icons fill the width of the 256 x 256 pixel icon bounding box. The System Info icon is does not, hence the spacing.

I think its on the icon/png design itself. Normally a good design should include some empty pixel around the icon image itself.

Some of the icons show below are 256x256. But since there are some transparent pixels around the icons it leave gaps when put on the dock.

These are the default icons for some apps in my dock. I think it would be fair to expect default icons to look as good as any other icons without messing up the overall look. And I have a lot of icons that fill the whole canvas that do not look good in OD3.

Thanks Basj. Here is a screenshot of the same folders on the Start11v2 Start menu (Windows 10 Style). Notice the spacing. I believe this is what we are asking for in this thread.
