Windows 11 new file explorer header update

Is there any updates in the works to get that white area working again with windowblinds11? As of this update that section no longer skins with windowblinds. Or is this no longer modifiable?

I just did Windows 11 updates and my version is shown below:

Looks to me like you may have a problem with Windows 11 itself and not Windowblinds, the explorer problem does not occur here, all is well.

care to show file explorer open with areo 11 applied on your system so I can see. Checking for updates says its up to date at least for this vm. I dont have any other tools installed on it. Its purely a fresh vm for windowblinds.

VMs are often not a fair substitute for an actual install as many generic drivers are used for them.

OK, I downloaded and checked Aero 11 and I can see what the problem is in all sub-styles, but the only fix for it is to install Windhawk. If you do and change the setting for the Command Bar area, it looks a bit more like Windows 10 and lets you use the image you set for that area in SkinStudio. You can get Windhawk here: ( https://windhawk.net/ ), it's free and works perfectly. You can also get rid of those tabs in explorer if you want.

Does the same on my windows 11 install on this alienware laptop. So it is indeed a change from that update. Is it forever locked to white or possibly can be fixed? You can see the texture for that spot flicker for a second when opening explorer but goes away after its fully loaded.

I already run that along with one for the details pane on the bottom. I just wanted to see if stardock could look into whether or not it can be fixed. Its one of the may reasons why Im on windows 10 on my system still and only test features of win11 under a vm.

Oh, OK. Might be a VM issue then like Sean said. I only use Windows 10 as my main system too, only use Windows 11 to test and make some minor changes to my WB's before releasing.
