Start11 v2.05 - taskbar icons deranged

Vertical alignment of taskbar icons disrupted

Hi, I just downloaded and installed the latest update package and following the necessary system restart, the icons on the taskbar are in disarray. Please see the attached screenshot, noting the bottom of the screen.

Are you aware of this as a bug?

Is it possible to revert to the earlier version if you don't have a fix for this?Icons on taskbar out of vertical alignment

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Is this a touch capable system. If so, please change this setting.

Thanks

Hi.

I had the same problem. I've followed basj's suggestion: even if the setting was already to "Automatic" I've changed to another choice and then gone back to "automatic". It worked. Hopefully as a stable solution.

I would recommend you set it to touch mode in your case.

In my PC (Windows 11, i7, 16GB RAM) the problem happens at every machine start. I need to open Start11 menu, go to application-bar settings and then click on "Restart Explorer".
Then the application-bar is fixed.

Rather a boring sequence, to be done too frequently...

:-(

You need to set the mode to touch in Start11 from the default automatic.

Sounds like toggling this setting back and forth (if that's what's required) is something the upgrade installer should do, automatically, to avoid users having to do it.

You should not toggle it.

Only on machines with the issue where touch is not being detected right should you force it to touch mode.
