Known issues

While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.

turn off the 'ffing V2 nag screen

Just tick the box at the bottom left on it and it will never show that again for that user account.

I have the Start11 Multi-Device update.

Do I have to pay again to get version 2 that has been released today on Steam?

Or can I upgrade for free?

You need to rebuy. You get ~50% discount. No free update.

Hi, I just updated to Start 11 1.5 and I now have strange taskbar behaviour. The taskbar has been resized or repositioned (I think resized, text seems smaller) and is smaller in vertical area than previously.

I tried dragging the top of the taskbar upwards to restore its previous dimensions but this does not stick, the top line returns to its previous position. I also tried restarting explorer and this had no effect.

The effect can be seen on the pic. NB the grey area above the upper edge of the taskbar is from the background picture. https://i.imgur.com/sRy1j9Q.jpeg

Thanks for any tips to restore the taskbar to previous size.

Have you perhaps set Start11 to use a small taskbar in settings?

Thanks for your reply. No I didn't make any changes, but I think you are right that this is what was changed with the update.

I found a registry edit option to restore it to medium size, so all good now.

Cheers

My taskbar will periodically spin vertically for several cycles and seconds.  All of the items will roll vertically like a slot machine.  Version 22H2 OS Build 22621.3007.  Is this a known issue?

Thanks

This taskbar spinning issue only happens when "Let Start11 enhance my taskbar" is enabled and I use the Snipping Tool.  Has anyone else encountered this?
