RDC Fence locations

When connecting vis Remote Desktop Connections (RDC) even with the same number of monitors, the Fences get moved to the main monitor on the target computer. Is there a way to avoid this?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows full version numbers. Use Winver.exe
  2. Fences full version numbers.
  3. Screen resolutions and scale factor (100%,150%,200% etc) on all monitors
  4. Does restore layout snapshot help restoring your layout.

Yes. Restore helps. But if I have fences on MOnitor 3 and I restart, I need to restore .... it does not remember. Worse if I connect remotely and then go back to the computer.

Many variables make this nearly impossible to support. 

Perhaps the path of least resistance is to, when connected, move Fences \ icons where you want them and create a new snapshot for when you are:
