Fences Move and resize themselves when monitor sleeps...

I've been a long-time user of fences, but I'm having issues with it now - more often than I would like.  I've got all the fences and portals set up on my desktop, go away for a few hours and come back to a blank screen (as I have set).  Not always, but often enough to be a problem, the fences have moved around and have become larger - often on top of one another.

What can be done about this?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need to know its full version number. Use Winver.exe
  2. Fences version installed.
  3. Screenshot of your Layout features setting, something like screenshot below.

Thank you.

You on Single Wide monitor setup or Multiple monitors? Have you tried try the "Store my Fence group positions on a per-screen-resolution basis" And disable "When 1 plug in a new primary monitor, move my icons to it"?

Thank you,

I have the same issue. Whenever I open my laptop the desktop shows all the groups in a tiny font, with all the icons inside jammed together to the left of that group. It looks like this:

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I don't think your issue is same as OP. Please create your own thread so we can help you there and not confuse this one.

Thank you.

No problems since I applied this "fix."  I hesitate to say it is finally fixed, but it looks pretty good.  Thank you!
