Groupy 1.5 and New MS Teams

Groupy does not group Teams chats automatically in New MS Teams, while it did in the MS Teams Classic

Dear support team,

Groupy 1.5 did group Teams chats in Teams Classic automatically, but does not do that automatically in the New Teams app. "Automatically group all 'ms-teams.exe' windows together" is set, but does not help. Manually grouping the windows works fine.

Do you have any idea, which settings to change, so Groupy groups New Teams chats automatically?

Groupy 1.51 is the current release for version 1 and can always be downloaded from your account page:

However, it would be prudent to test with Groupy 2.15 beta (if the trial is still available to you) as it will be what is likely to get updated if there is indeed something still at issue:

Hi Sean,

I have uninstalled Groupy, rebooted and installed  from the sources you mentioned above. Unfortunately, the MS Teams issue is still there.

Next step will be to test the 2.15 beta mentioned above.

In the meantime, can you or any developer tell, if between version 1.5 and 1.51, any fix for MS Teams has been implemented?

Hi Sean,

I installed Groupy 2.15, but the trial period is expired, as I had installed Groupy 2 a few weeks ago, when you first time recommended to install Groupy 2 and test it.

After that, you can get the exact version from the GroupyConfig.exe located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Groupy

*Mine is Groupy 2 but you get the idea...
