Cannot deactivate key on old machine and cannot activate on the new machine

Title says it all, but I cannot deactivate a product key for multiplicity on a machine that is no longer in service, and multiplicity is not allowing me to activate the key on the new machine.

Log in to your Stardock account and go to Downloads on your Dashboard. Once there, click on View Product Keys if not already showing. Now click on the 3 dots to Manage Activations and then deactivate your old computer. You should now be able to install Multiplicity and activate it on your new computer.
