Yes, I was on 5.01 when I wrote in the forum about the bug.
I also asked Stardock to refund my subscription of Object Desktop (57$) because I don't want to pay for a defective software.
I offered (instead of money refund) to give me a permanent licence of Fence 4 (43$), I'm awaiting your answer, been 3 days.
But... you'll be happy to know that I diagnosed the problem. I found the bug (not the solution though)
It appear that Fence is not detecting Monitor correctly and Assign random number to each monitor depending on the order they are detected.
Meaning, I have 4 screen, let's call them Left, Main, Right, virtual
Monitor are detected in this order by Windows: 1,2,3,4
I got no Fence on monitor 4 (virtual) but for some reason, sometime, Fence detect monitor 4 before monitor 2 (main)
Consequentely, everything on Monitor 2 (main) go on Monitor 3 (right) and everything on Monitor 3 go on Monitor 4 (virtual)
Since I don't have a Physical screen for monitor 4, I thought my Fence just were invisible.
By uninstalling Fence 5 and re-installing Fence 4, I found out about the monitor ordering issue.
strangely, Fence 4 doesn't have the problem but the snapshot taken by Fence 5 lead Fence 4 to confuse thing a bit because the backup snapshot are not "ordered" properly.
I have unplugged monitor 4 (virtual)
erased all snapshot,
take a new one,
re-plug monitor 4 and reboot a couple of time and the issue didn't come back.
I never had this problem before installing Fence 5
Hope thoses information could be usefull for fixing your product.
