Start11 taskbar transparency

Cannot make the taskbar black

In Start11 v2, it does not seem possible to make the taskbar black, just a muted grey color. You can disable blurring, set the color to black, change the taskbar to be completely opaque, disable transparency, nothing makes it completely black. Start10 does this easily without any messing around in the settings.

The only way to make it appear black in Start11, is to set the desktop to black, disable taskbar blurring, and make it somewhat transparent. But then if any window slides behind the taskbar it makes the taskbar unreadable.

Not sure how you do it. But, I can do it without any issue. Here what my taskbar if I wanted to make it totally black (0,0,0)

Here is my taskbar background setting.

Taskbar transparency setting at 100% solid

Yes that appears to work ok in Windows 11, I am using Windows 10.

I checked and the blackest Black color I can set on Windows 10 is 1,1,1. If I set 0,0,0 it revert itself to 32,32,32. Not sure why.

However, I have forwarded your problem to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
