Kona: what might irk some of us is now after all that caterwauling you did in the other thread about subscribing or not subscribing (such a drama queen) now when you're trying to put someone else down you act as if you're special because you have a freaking subscription. You only have it because someone else paid for it to give to you as you said yourself. You did nothing for it and contributed nothing towards it. So many excuses why you couldn't get one for yourself so someone else foots the bill so you can act like some "I've got a subscription" big shot prom queen? On the one hand you plead poverty and impending homelessness, on the other hand you're talking about spending $100 or $150 on a cell phone or buying a $1,000 bicycle.

And then you expect everyone to treat you with kid gloves like you're some 5 yr old or Rain Man without the skills. You should get out more often where the people don't treat you like you're a "special case" who just hopped off the small yellow bus. Or you could at least attempt to act as some one who's at least pushing thirty.

I bought it back. I am giving that person 20 bucks. Now it is mine.

I am spending nothing on a cell phone now and 300 on a bike. leaves about 700 to 1500 for saving towards a new apartment.

I'm not going to argue with you about my ranking any further. Maybe and admin can enlighten you about why people get promoted.

As a paying subscriber and software purchaser who supports this site with my hard earned dollars, I find it very annoying the freeloaders are even allowed to post here, take large amounts of skins for free that people have put hours, days, even weeks into developing, and then have the nerve and audacity to come here and complain when their freeloading is temporarily halted because of something such as a server problem. I am completely fed up with whinners in this country that want or think they deserve everything for nothing.

If it were up to me, unsubcribers would not be able to post here, they would get one or maybe 2 skins to try out and then if they really wanted more they would have to put up or shut up. And if they came here whinning and complaining without even trying to ask why did this happen or why did that happen...quite frankly they would be banned completely...sorry...but I have zero tolerence for this constant whinning and bitching about something they get for free. >

As harsh as it might sound, I kind of agree with webgizmos

I agree with you as well Apocalyse...when you say you will charge these whinners for your skins...I also think that somewhere down the line you skinners should be compensated for your work...afterall...without the skins most of this software would be useless.

Honestly, imagine getting at least...lets say .50 or a dollar for arguments sake for each download of your skins. 6000 downloads x .50 = $3000 I know I'd be willing to pay it...and I'm even facing bankruptcy for christ sake. What you need is a manager!

Boy, the trolls really have been coming out of the woodwork lately, all singing the same song, demanding that they be able to download however much they want, whenever they want, at absolutely no cost to them. Seems kind of suspicious that these posts are happening all of a sudden...yeah, can't help but wonder if it's the same couple of people doing it over and over again under new and different names. If so, sheesh, get a life, will ya? Take a hike, goodbye, good riddance, don't let the door hit ya in the bum on the way out.

Stardock is a business, and by extension, so is Wincustomize. They need to bring in money in order to pay their bills. You wouldn't walk into your local grocery store and demand that you be allowed to take what you want for free, would you? Nope, didn't think so, unless you wanted a shoplifting rap on your record. So the same holds true here. Personally, I find that the few dollars I've spent here over the last few months have been well worth it, and I have absolutely no regrets on purchasing the products offered here.

Oh, and btw, it really was bad form for milktm to start this thread on a day when yet another server bit the dust. It was the equivalent of kicking someone when they were down, and as someone who has enjoyed coming to this site every day for many months now, I didn't appreciate it. >

I'm courious. I'm a subscriber to OD (going on 5 years I think) but not WC. I've only contributed about three skins over the years. Is that what is considered a leach? ...Or paying for OD every year wash away my leaching sins?
