Task bar white "boxes"

from Stardock Forums

Taskbar has these white boxes at each end. Everything was fine after the update just started this morning. I tried restarting explorer and the whole machine. Anyone esle having this issue?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to have more details.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also its full version number.
  2. Start11 v1 or v2 and its full version number.
  3. Are you on Windowblinds too? if yes, what theme are you using while taking the snapshot above.
  4. Do you have any other software running in the background which also dealing with Taskbar and/or Explorer.

Windows 11 22631.2715 Start 11 V2 version 2.0.3 no window blinds and no other software running

Please try this, uninstall Start11, important to reboot immediately after uninstall finished. Redownload the latest version again. Install it, reboot again after installation finished. Retest it and report back.

After uninstall, reboot, and reinstall that seems to have resolved the issue. Thank you for the advice.
