Stupid question about DesktopX

Can desktopX and windowblinds be used together? I know it's probably been asked before just didn't have alot of luck finding the answer. Wanted to know before I just attempted it. Thanks for the help.

The simple answer is YES, and I'm sure an admin or someone with more knowledge than I will be along shortly to answer any specific questions you might have. You might even have better luck posting this in the Help forum. I myself try out all kinds of objects on my desktop with windowblinds. Good Luck

Thanks, figured was probably a stupid question. I just didn't want to try it without asking and ending screwing something up. I play with alot in object desktop just haven't messed with desktopx yet. But now I will.

By all means go for it, and if in the unlikely event that something did go wrong, there is a lot of good people here that can most likely get you out of any trouble you might find yourself in.

Yes, they can, which I learned this morning, finally. Just make sure that the setting to "Hide the taskbar" is not checked. Then, you can have the taskbar as well as the windowblinds that go with it, if you so desire.

Thanks dabe, that is good to know. I use my taskbar alot, if it disappeared I would be lost.
