Fences 5 - icons still go to wrong monitor

I read all posts about dual monitor tickets but none of them solved my problem yet. I have a laptop with an external monitor connected. New icons go to the upper right corner of the second monitor instead of the primary laptop monitor. Settings in Fences 5 (I updated for testing the problem as well) were check as well as the registry shows primary monitor "DISPLAY1). What else can I do to see new icons on the primary monitor?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe you can  setup a Fences and set a rule so that all new icons go into that Fence.

Thanks

Hi IchHabRecht sorry for the problems your experiencing. Is there a chance you might be able to share more about your screen configuration?

If you head to this area in the Fences config, you'll see an option for Troubleshooting along with an option to output a multi-monitor debug log. Hit that and then copy and paste your monitor information here, and that should help a great deal. Also -- information about the view settings of your desktop -- what size is set for the desktop icons, and is auto arrange and/or grid set. Thank you!

^output multi mon report

^monitors list

^which settings do you have selected here.

Thank you!
