Another lost customer

Hello Stardock, so it looks like you have lost another (previously faithful) customer because you still do not appear to have added the much-loved Quick Launch toolbar to an update. I have now installed ExplorerPatcher, but because there are some compatibility issues, I have opted to keep EP and uninstalled Start11.

I've been with you for 22 years!!!

I am sorry to hear this, but we have in fact added something to Start11 v2 which can achieve the same aims which is you can pin the quick launch folder (or any other) to the taskbar which will open as a popup menu.

We do not implement things as ExplorerPatcher does because we have to provide support for our software and unfortunately the methods used by that app are unsupportable long term.  It has twice broken with MS updates this year I believe.  Thats ok for free software, but it isn't for paid obviously.

If you are able to let us know what compatibility issues you had with S11 and ExplorerPatcher please do let us know as Start11 should be treating it just like Windows 10 and we are not aware of any issues.

Thanks for your reply Neil. ExplorerPatcher was a previously installed Start11 alternative. What I should have said was that I now use StartAllBack. It does all I expect from Start11, but it does have a Quick Launch option.
