Hide volume icon

Hi, but with the new start11 version 2 is it possible to hide the system volume icon from the start bar?

Because since I have a better program for managing the volume I have two identical icons I wanted to hide the system one and only keep the icon of the installed program active. it's possible ?

It is not possible to do this through Windows 11 settings.

It could be done easily with Windows 7 but I don't understand why they disabled this thing with Windows 11.

Is it possible to do this with Start11? or at least in the next version introduce something to hide the desired icons, it would be great.

I don't think there is an option to do that in Start11. However, I have forwarded your request to the Stardock Support Team for their review and recommendations. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We really do appreciate your feedback, Thanks

Hello, I was looking for this same answer and got this post from google. Do you know if this was added as a feature? I'm looking for ways to remove all 3 of these icons:

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From what I know there is no such feature added yet.

Thank you.

In Windows 11, the Network and Sound function as if they were one button when left-clicked to open the Quick Actions panel. If you right-click the Network button it opens a context menu to Diagnose network problems or open Network and Internet settings. If you right-click the Sound button it opens a context menu to Troubleshoot sound problems, Open Volume Mixer, and open Sound settings.

Since the Network and Sound function as if they were one button when left-clicked, it seems unlikely you would be able to remove only the Sound button.

I'd rather just remove all 3 in the image I posted. I have other software to control each of these so these buttons are just taking up space.
