How to restore Snapshots from old computer

How do I restore Snapshots from old computer?

I have changed to a new PC. And I have made a snapshot on the old PC, copied the snapshots file from the old PC to the new PC (the png and xml files), put the files in the new PC's "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Stardock\Fences\Backups" folder. But in Fences setting, Layout & snapping, There is no snapshot from the old PC. I think Fences just didn't recognize the old snapshot files.

So how do I restore Snapshots from old computer? (Fences version 4.21 and Windows 10 22H2 build 19045.3570 on both PCs. And please don't purge&re-install or cleanboot me, I don't think that‘s relevant. Maybe you could also test if this actually IS a real issue or not.)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. When you trying to restore snapshot from old computer to a new one. You will need to make sure few things. For the portal Fences to work, it will need to have the physical location of the linked folders is the same. And, for normal Fences. The files that exist on the desktop area need to be the same.

Do know that save snapshots just saved which files go to which Fences and what are the Fences size and its location. There are no actual physical files saved in the snapshots.
