Start11 V2 & V1 - Still no proper ungrouping

It is disappointing that having purchased version 1 of start11 and mothballing it due to it not supporting the dragging of ungrouped icons then finding that [1] I need to buy v2 and [2] V2 still doesn't support dragging of individual icons from ungrouped icons.  They are still grouped, just expanded.  I'll give v2 a bit long but will probably go back to using ExplorerPatcher.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please elaborate on "proper ungrouping" so we can understand it better.

Thank you.

If I have 3 chrome tabs a,b,c I can't change the order to c,b,a, or put notepad between them etc.

I used to have this on win10, not sure if that was native or via app.

That's not been a native feature of Windows since grouping came in I think.

I have uninstalled Start11 and can confirm that ExplorerPatcher + 7+ Taskbar Tweaker (working together) provide the ability to drag program icons anywhere (split or order grouped icons)

I didn't think start11 was all about reproducing past features but on improvements.  I have had this feature on all Windows for as long as I can remember (whether or not it was always a native feature, I can't remember either way).

I just installed v2 only to again be disappointed that this feature is missing, I keep reading about all the improvements being made, how about adding some useful ones instead of cosmetics?

Anyway it is back to the free WindHawk for me as ExplorerPatcher  plus 7+ Taskbar Tweaker no longer work on latest WIN11. It is not perfect but as this feature is in my must have list, I will again shelve start11 as a viable alternative (at least for power users).

Well, as far as I remember, most recent updates is not cosmetic, infect the latest major update, is capabilities for vertical taskbar, are by request by lot and lot of users and its for user which too used to vertical taskbar work flow from Windows 10.
