Start11 v2, Quick Access "Universal Applications" & "Windows Tools"- "Access Denied"

Just updated to Start11v2 from v1.47.3. configured to "Modern w/o Icon", Win11 22H2, 22621.2506 on the "Quick access" side of the start menu both "Universal Applications" and "Windows Tools"  now indicate "Access Denied", and are locked into "Display as menu" "Display as link" has disappared, they worked perfectly under v1.47.  Both work perfectly on the LHS of the Menu (All Programs) under v1.47.3 and v2.0.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please download the latest beta from your product account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products Currently, latest is at Start11 v2 2.0.0.2. Download, install, reboot as soon install finished.

@Basj When updating using your recent softwares are you still recomending to uninstalling previous version restart then install new and restart or is a dirty update and restart the recomended way?

It should work with just installed over. But, in some odd cases that uninstalled first help. So, if you want to be safe, you should uninstall, without removing the setting, reboot, install the latest version, reboot again.

Folks:

Version 2.0.0.0.2 has fixed the problems with the Quick Start items, vis "Universal Applications" & "Windows Tools" not working, but has introduced a new makor problem, Conficuration in v 2.0.0.2 is almost un responsive, takes minutes to open, is buggy, tends to cause "video instability" in the settings window, you can't drag items around to re-order them, locks up, and becomes "not responding".  

Have tried installing over v1.47.3, deleting Start11, and even running your old "purge.bat" file, problems with "config" still remain.

BTW Start11v2.0.0.2 works fine under Win11 23H2, but the above problems with the Configuration are still there.

Hello again,

Sorry but I don't see those issue you mentioned here on Start11 latest V2 Beta 1.02. But I am on Win11 22H2. Would like to suggest to try, uninstall Start11, reboot, redownload latest version again. Reinstall, reboot and retest.
