Windows 11 Blurry bar above Taskbar that covers apps and desktop

Windows 11 22621

When I use any theme with WindowBlinds, in the screenshot showing "Diamond", pretty much any theme, there's a bar above taskbar that won't go away, it covers apps, desktop, appears to be always on top. Has anyone seen this before? Can this be fixed?

Windows 11

WindowBlinds 11.02 (017 x64 - Windows 11 Edition) - 64 bit OS

Window titlebar blur features are enabled on this operating system

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I don't see your issue on my system. Please refer screenshot below. I notice your taskbar do look different then mine. Do you have Start11 installed? Or some other 3rd party Startpanel/taskbar application that might causing conflicting issue.

Thanks

No, only regular Windows 11 Home 64 bit.

The laptop display is Hi-DPI display 1080p @ 14inches.

This seems to happen only with themes that have translucency.

Look like you have the new "uncombine able" taskbar button. I don't have that feature yet on my Windows 11 system. So, I can not confirm your issue on my system. However, I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

I suspect this has to do with the new Windows 11 feature "Optimize taskbar for touch interactions when used as a tablet". When used in tablet mode, the taskbar expands to that space. Disabling it makes no difference.

Also, when on windows desktop you can't draw selection rectangle in this "reserved space" where the blur bar resides, the selection ends at the top of the blur bar area (invisible with the default theme).

To reproduce the issue, you'll need a convertible "2-in-1" laptop.

A simple fix I can think of;

Would it be possible to provide an "Adjustable Offset" in Settings to reduce (or increase) the height of the taskbar blur from the current calculated value?

If you have Start11 v2 installed, have you tried changing these settings. And see if that help with your issue.

Thank you,

Would like to suggest to do the free 30 days trial and see if the issue still there.

Thank you,
