Taskbar Buttons Stop Responding

The buttons in the taskbar stop responding.  For instance, when I push a button such as MS Edge nothing happens.  I must then go to Task Manager, perform an End Task operation, and then return to the main screen.  At that point, the MS Edge button responds.  The problem is not limited to MS Edge but to other buttons as well.  I have tried rebooting.  Once up the tray buttons all work but, in time, they stop responding. All is well for some unknown period of time and then the problem returns.

I am running Windows 11 and to date, Start 11 has run flawlessly.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You need to End task operation on, Start11? The taskbar buttons work after that? And, the issue return once your reboot or restart Start11? Please give us more details on your issue. Also give us information on your system. We need to know,

  1. Your Windows 11 full version number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 version.
  3. Start11 used to run "flawlessly" before, what change since the issue happened? Windows update? Drive update?
  4. Any other details might help us to understand your issue better.

Thanks

I have run Start 11 ever since it came out and have never had an issue until this popped up.

I have no idea what might have caused this issue.  Thanks

Please try this, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important) after uninstall finished. Redownload latest version from your product page. Install it, reboot again and retest. Report back.

Thank you,

The issue may have been triggered by the Edge button in the tray.  I unlinked Edge then relinked it.  I want to see if that cures the hiccup.

The problem reappeared.  I have uninstalled S11 and reinstalled it.  I will post whether this solution fixes the issue.  Thanks
