Every time an update is presented on my wife's PC, she ignores it. How do I force it to update when she's not looking?
Do you mean Object Desktop Manager is telling you to update Start10 and the update doesn't happen?

Can you post a screen shot of the pop up?
As I remember it, you click on the update option in the pop up...the upper blue bar which says, "Download and install".

I don't know how to make myself anymore clear. When the pop up appears on her desktop to update the program she ignores it. It has not been updated in a few years.
All due respect, none of this is even relevant. Please tell me how to update the application.
You have to run Start 10 from the start menu and look for the "About" screen. It should be something similar to the one in Start 11 if my memory serves me right. When you've found it, simply click "Check now" and download and install the update.
