Windows 11 Copilot Icon disappears if nothing is pinned to the task bar

Windows added AI Copilot in the new windows code release, the feature adds a small icon on the task bar that you can click to access the feature. This works great as long as there is at least one item pinned to the task bar or running in the task bar. I have my quick access inside Start 11 and keep my bar clean so only running programs are on the bar. Small niggling detail but if I have nothing open and want to access Copilot I have to run some program or pin an unwanted program to my task bar to make the icon for Copilot visible.

Are you using Start11 1.x or 2.x?

I believe this was resolved in 2.x and when we next do an update for the 1.x series I would expect the same to be resolved in that.
