What has happened to Stardock Support??

I have been a Stardock customer for many years now and in the past when I have had a problem Support has responded to my inquiries very fast and the problem has been resolved.  Recently I had a problem renewing my Object Desktop subscription and when I submitted 2 different tickets on 2 different days I received no response, no reply, and no help.  Fortunately I was able to finally renew my subscription after 6 days of trying.  So that is good news for me.

 

Now though I have 2 new problems.

FENCES 4

Each time I start my computer I am told there is an update to this software.  I download it, restart the computer, and need to update the software.  (This has been going on for months.)

START 11

It needs an update, but cannot find the 'install file' so it fails.  Once I was able to renew Object Desktop I uninstalled Start 11 but could not reinstall it because it could not find the 'install file'.  I was able to download the trial version but it needs to update, but of course cannot find the 'install file' so it is unable to.

 

There seems to be no reason to contact Support since they no longer exist so I am looking to see if maybe a customer may know what I need to do to resolve these 2 issues.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, Stardock do its technical support via Forum post at least since 2018 when I became Community Assistant.

As for your issue, it is a known issue for sometime now that ObjectDesktop update notice for several of its product should be ignore or you can disable ObjectDesktop update check all together. You will have individual product update notice from each product itself.
