Everquest Mouse Wheel Does Not Work on Secondary Computer

Multiplicity Seamless

I am playing Everquest on two machines. A primary desktop and a secondary laptop. I am using a third party Razer mouse connected wirelessly to the desktop. The mouse wheel works on the primary and works outside of the game on the secondary but in game the mouse wheel does not function. This is very important to the function of the game, especially on the smaller monitor of the laptop. I read online that occasionally the track pad can be the cause and I have disconnected it. That has not resolved the issue. When I play the game on the laptop without Multiplicity the mouse wheel works fine as well. I need help figuring out how to correct the issue. Any help is appreciated.

The issue is similar but different. I am not getting duplicate inputs on both screens, the mouse wheel does not work at all on second screen. It works without multiplicity open.

We have made adjustments to accommodate EQ changes in the past:

However, if EQ is prohibiting its proper function, there is nothing we can do about it:

Maybe that explains why it originally worked and now does not. I am playing on two different computers and two different accounts so it should be good to go. Are there any other troubleshooting ideas?

If there is a workaround, the EQ community would be the ones to ask.

Try plugging the mouse you use on the main PC into the secondary computer and installing the associated mouse software. This worked on both of my Everquest boxes.

You can also plug in a mouse temporarily to your secondary PC, go to options in EQ, and change back to full screen, then back to windowed mode. The mouse wheel will start working again.

I'm not sure why this happens or why this is the fix, but its super annoying. I have to do it every time I play so I just keep a spare mouse around to do this. Seems to happen on my two oldest PCs that I use for my 5th and 6th boxes but not on newer PCs.

No mouse wheel issues here with EQ, I run 6 PCs.  Each has it's own mouse plugged into it but I use the Primary mouse for all control.

That said, wheel mouse scroll is really isn't a must have in EQ, all it does is Zooms in and Out which can be remapped to any key. Default in NPAD 7/1 and INSERT/DELETE keys

Thank you for all of the replies.  Putting a mouse into all my boxes resolved my mouse scrolling issue.  Now it happens.  Fantastic.
