Help! I bought your software and it doesn't work at launch of installer.

WindowsBlinds 11

Hey,

I purchased WindowsBlinds 11. I just downloaded the latest setup file from your site.

When I go to "WindowsBlinds11_Setup" and run as administrator, the error message comes up,
"Launcher error
Unable to open archive file"

This is on Windows 11 Enterprise edition. I just built this PC. Why? Plz help me fix this. What I purchased is useless! :(((((

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your system.

  1. Are you running on ARM base CPU?
  2. Need to know what is your Windows 11 full version number. Use Windows own Winver.exe.
  3. Have you tried downloading the installer again from you product account page?
  4. Do you have ESET Antivirus on your system? If not, which Antivirus/Security software you have running in your system.

Thanks

Thanks for the help.

Hopefully this post will serve to aid.

1. I have no idea what this is.
It's a wonderful AMD Ryzen 3 3100 Socket AM4 k6

2. Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.2215)

3. Yup. Got the latest one. Same error. Won't even open.

4. I have none. It's the default. But everything has been disabled:
Ransomware Controlled Folder Access, Virus & Threat Protection, etc.

Try this, delete that downloaded Windowblinds installer file. Redownload the installer again using different browser via account page. Try install again. If it still fail, check if it install if you tried install it on a Windows Sandbox: https://forums.stardock.com/486023/windowblinds-support-faq#FFskin. Try that and report back.
