Start 11 Taskbar control failure

ExplorerPatcher error

I installed Start 11 and used it as a Trial version to use the Taskbar control functionality that enables not to combine taskbar buttons, like Windows 10.  It worked for a while, but a few days later it does not work anymore and showed the following error message.  I previously used "ExplorerPatcher" available in GitHub for the same purpose but got the exact same error message.  Since I already uninstalled ExplorerPatcher and then installed Start 11, I realized that Start 11 utilizes ExplorerPatcher as one of its components and somehow the component does not work with my desktop computer.  I searched a lot to find the solution, but I failed.   I wondered if my desktop has something wrong...  and if I have to restore it to the factory settings...

Please help me to resolve this issue.  Thank you.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I don't think Start11 ever use ExplorerPatcher to work. I believe when you uninstall ExplorerPatcher, it left something behind, which causing the issue. I think it is best to look at ExplorerPatcher support for assistant.

Thanks

Start11 does not use ExplorerPatcher and never has done and that message is nothing to do with Start11.

You have not removed ExplorerPatcher correctly by the looks of it.  You would need to contact the developer of that for technical assistance in removing their product.

Once ExplorerPatcher has been removed you should find Start11 works just fine on your computer.

go into your settings and uninstall explorer patcher from there and then reboot. From that picture it shows you still have the application installed. Once you remove it you will be fine to use start11.
