On mouse over start button - curser jumps to mid screen

Skippy

Edition    Windows 11 Pro
Version    22H2
OS build    22621.2070
Experience    Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22659.1000.0

START11 v1.47.

When I move the cursor to the start button (mouse over), the cursor jumps to the middle of the left side of the screen.

Also:

Start11 v1.47.2 has twice now asked me to auto update since it was already updated. (The initial install of v1.47.2 - PC was rebooted after installation and has been rebooted many times since) but still, there has been 2 more requests to update to the same version.
No registry hacks or unofficial tweaks have been made to Start11.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information. Please post "a screen shot of the update notification", "a screenshot of the About tab" in the Fences configuration, and "a screenshot of the details tab" of the Fences.exe properties (refer below)?

(Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start11 right click on Start11.exe select properties and then click on the details tab)

Thank you,

I can give you a screen shot of the fences & start11 properties. A screen shot of the update notification would have to wait until it does or doesn’t ask a 3rd time. I didn’t take a screen shot at the rime.

However, I am more concerned about the cursor jumping to the middle of the screen as mentioned first in my post. It’s annoying enough to uninstall start11. I mean who’s got time for that? :-"

Do you have any other application running that also deal with Start panel/Start button/Taskbar etc? Such as StartAllBack, Open Shell etc. Or any other 3rd party application that has addon inserted into your taskbar.

No @basj I don't mate :congrat:

I’ll stick with you on this because`i’d like to see what you know, but I plan on doing a fresh install of Win11 in the coming days so I will be interested to see if it persists after that.

P.S. I only use Start11 and Fences4. No other Stardock apps. I bought Groupy2 but it’s just too buggy to use in my opinion.

I’ll take a look at that this afternoon or tomorrow, i’ve never done it before. Mainly because i don’t like what I refer to as beta testing. I was hoping you had seen this before. Thanks basj!

As far as I can remember, I don't see similar report from others. But, I can not be 100% sure.

Also, have you try this steps. It did help lot others on some random issue user encounter. Try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), re-download and install the latest version. Reboot again. Retest it.

Should I also delete the registry folder?
