Icons do not disappear when fence got collapsed

I created a fence from 2 links on my desktop. When I double click on the title bar, the fence collapse, but the icons stay visible. They disappear, when I open another fence that covers the fence in question, but come back and stay as soon as I open the fence with mouse over.

I can show you a video if needed.

This happens with the trial version 4.21 and latest Win11. No problem with fences made from folders.

It works in a sandbox. But not sure, because in the sandbox I can not see and/or control display settings.

The reason for using sandbox is to see if there is a potential conflict with something else you have installed, what is the widget software you are using and do you have any other "desktop modification" software installed?

To add, in the Nvidia Controlpanel alle settings are on standard/default

If you disable that Nvidia software (that often has an overlay), does it still happen?

The widget software (Rainmeter) is not the problem. I tried the whole thing with a clean account, where Rainmeter is not running. Beside Start11, nothing of that kind is running.

Beside the Nvidia Desktop Manager, which I do not have installed, there is nothing to uninstall. The Nvidia Control Panel ist part of the driver and can not be uninstalled separately.

What I do not understand, why does the Folder Portal fence works and the other not. Is there such a technical difference?

There is a substantial difference and knowing that they are rendering differently for you is valuable.

This has been pushed up the food chain here and the devs are working on finding a root cause \ possible solution.

Keep an eye on this thread for updates.

Thanks for the report and time taken to test \ reply, schefer2.

Otto, when you see the icon artifacts from a roll-down Fence, are you able to interact (click to select, lasso, etc) with them in the places they show... or no, they are just visually there but not interactable.

Also, when this happens, does a F5 (refresh) work to clean up the artifacts?

Sean, I can not interact with the artifacts. Clicking on them or in the area of the fence makes them disappear. F5 also clears the artifacts.
