Start11

Tranparancy

Is there any possibility that when it comes to Start11 you could remove the limit on the transparency , it's current minimum is 11% I believe, I have set up the taskbar to be completely transparent with blur off and using automatic color, by doing this I have it looking like glass and can see my desktop wallpaper underneath it, you can still tell that it's the taskbar though, it looks really good and I would like to do this with the start menu as well but for some reason it's transparency only goes down to 11%

I would like to post a picture but of course no ability to do that here.

We have the limit because unlike the taskbar the start menu appears over other windows / desktop icons.  This would make it entirely unusable if it had a completely transparent background.

That will give you an idea of what I am trying to achieve as you can see, you can still see the task bar but can see the wallpaper underneath is, the transparancy limit is what makes it look like rough perspex and not glass.

The issue is without that blur and small amount of background your entire menu would be invisible when over say a web browser window which are often white.  So white text over white background.

I thought I could cheat and alter..

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8\MenuAlphaValue STRING 30

But you've locked it down to well.

It would be nice to be able to over-ride it as it would look amazing, I can only run in dark mode BTW, two of my monitors are IPS and the other is QD OLED and without dark mode my eyes would be smoking holes even with the brightness in SDR set to 120 Nits. I can't stand white backgrounds because they are to much for my eyes.

Not even a possibility of a hidden nod nod wink wink option ?
